Stop motion of Davis Square on a Sunday afternoon. Gotta love the Somerville Theatre!

Just a few weeks ago…

There were leaves and there were bikes.

Mystic Fishing

Here are some gentlemen fishing off the dock in Mystic, Connecticut. I wonder if the fish are safe to eat?

Farmers’ Market -Amman

As you all know by now, I’m really into photographing farmers’ markets. There’s something about the bustling atmosphere that I really love. Vendors are yelling, customers are happy to be buying their fruit and veggies, and people are haggling left and right. Plus, the lighting is usually nice under colored tents.

So I went to the market in Wadi Seir today with my dad. He needed fruit, I needed action.

Jordan’s Most Famous Souvenir

These sand vases are Jordan’s most popular gift for tourists. It’s always so much fun watching these things get made. It truly is an art. Very carefully, these sand artists are able to create drawings, usually of camels and the desert to represent Jordan. It usually takes about 15-20 minutes to make a medium sized vase. Each one is about 3-4JD, which is roughly $6. They can write your name, or whatever message you want. I remember getting one for my Chinese friend that said “Made in China”.
So any special requests?
